Top-Speed-Grinder
Grinding and Milling with an actual speed of 100 000 rpm
Advantages:
- Optimum surface removal and surface quality by use of speed consistent gear drive
- High repeatability by gear motor withous vanes
- Oilfree operation without loss of power is possible
- Best ergonomic shape: Housing grip, housing material, noise level, handling
High speed midget grinders, especially when used with highgrade steel inserts at relative high speed, are used for grinding, for deburring and also when treating non-metallic materials.
The technical solution to this was the miniature vane-motor with corresponding small power output, loss of speed when loaded and low durability or a turbine with additional gearing which is expensive and does not offer a problem-free solution.
The DEPRAG Top-Speed-Grinder with a modern gear-motor, brings all the advantages, such as high power-output, consistent high-speed, robustness and oilfree use, without any of the previous mentioned disadvantages.
The best results when removing surfaces or when trying to obtain top surface quality, depends primarily on the speed under load and the use of the best suited tooling.
Compared to a vane-motor, the advantage of this high-speed gear-motor is in limiting the speed loss under power. The speed-loss of an already low-speed vane-motor amounts to about 50% under load, whereby the new gear-motor only looses about 30%. Because of the fricition-less running of the motor-parts, the wear and tear is small.
An often exchange of vanes is a thing of the past!
The good material team-up of the drive also allows the oilfree operation, without loss of power or speed.
The highly precise true running of our Top-Speed-Grinders´ collets (<0.03 mm) thus clearly distinguishes these from our competitors´equivalents; and it also positively affects the storing lifetime, the quality of the surface reached during grinding and milling as well as the tools´ vibration.
Independent from the technical data, the state-of-the-art ERGONOMIC design contributes heavily to a positive production results. The asymmetric form allows an individual comfortable grip and a good orientation in the hand.
The rear exhaust removes unpleasant exhaust air from the operator and the workstation. The integrated silencer reduces the noise level to a comfortable 72 dB(A).
